Il nome cambi\u00f2 da Lindfors a Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mbergshyttan quando Edward Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mberg, che era l&#8217;ex capo di Orrefors, acquist\u00f2 l&#8217;azienda nel 1933. Insieme a suo figlio Eric, ide\u00f2 un modo per produrre un vetro che avesse una tonalit\u00e0 argento-bluastra, che divenne caratteristica di Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mbergshyttan. Gerda e Asta Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mberg hanno progettato la maggior parte del vetro. L&#8217;azienda rimase di propriet\u00e0 della famiglia Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mberg fino al 1976, quando fu venduta a Orrefors. Nel 1973 si verific\u00f2 un grave incendio che lasci\u00f2 la vetreria in difficolt\u00e0 finanziarie. Orrefors chiuse la vetreria Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mbergshyttan nel 1979. Gunnar Nylund e Rune Strand erano due designer che lavorarono anche per Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mbergshyttan. La maggior parte del vetro di Strm<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>bergshyttan \u00e8 firmato con Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mbergshyttan o Str<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00f6<\/span>mberg, oltre a un codice di produzione.
